An open letter to renal patients and their families

Today is March 10, 2016, the eleventh “world kidney day”, which is proposal and set up by the International Society of Nephrology and International Federation of Kidney Foundation and the time is set at every Thursday in March of every year. Today, our hospital has organized “the large-scale welfare activities of kidney experts” which is good for popularizing kidney knowledge. As there is a very famous saying in China, “the body is the capital of revolution”, so, no matter what stage of kidney disease are you in, you must learn to love yourself, control the diet strictly, have proper rests, keep good mood, develop a good daily habit, which will be helpful to your recovery and precaution.

Kidney disease is not an incurable disease, as one of the largest kidney hospital of China, we have treated tens and thousands of kidney patients. We have found out that there are 95% of patients who have suffered hematuresis, proteinuria, nephritis, and nephrotic syndrome at the early stage (inflammation stage) can be cured and never relapse. Sufferers who are at the middle stage of kidney damage which begins the kidney fibrosis have a ratio of 87.8% to get rid of dialysis through controlling the original disease and repairing the damaged kidney cells. Besides, those who are at the sclerosis period of kidney disease, as long as the kidney is not smaller than 8 cm, it still has a ration of 76% to reverse.

Regretfully, many patients are limited by local medical condition and insufficient ability of local doctor, and go a lot of detours on the way of renal disease treatment, e.g. patients who should not have dialysis, their kidneys remain most of the functions, which accept the dialysis in advance. It is known to all, dialysis machine, is also called “artificial kidney”, and is just a machine that works as kidney temporarily. It could not play a role in curing the kidney. The longer when people take dialysis, the greater patients rely on the machine. And, of course, more difficult for people to get rid of dialysis. Some patients, their kidney disease could be reversed and recover totally; when ignore the disease, thus missed the best treatment opportunity.

Today, we take this opportunity to all dear friends in kidney disease. Please believe that your illness will be relieved or even cured by controlling the primary disease, expanding blood vessel, improving kidney ischemia and anoxia, thereby to promote microcirculation of the whole body, to clean up the blood toxin treatment. Please believe that there are methods to cure kidney disease in specialized hospital.
